My current professional role is Athletic Director of Carmen Schools of Science and Technology in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to my time at Carmen, I worked as an upper school history teacher, middle school P.E. teacher, as well as Assistant AD at The Field School in Washington DC from 2012-2014. My first experiences as an educator began in 2011 as a student teacher at Appleton West High School (WI).
After graduating from Living Word Lutheran High School (Jackson, WI) in 2007, I attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI for my undergraduate degree from 2007-2011. While at Lawrence, I played intercollegiate men's basketball, managed the women's soccer team, worked as a staff writer for the student newspaper, and interned in the Development and Admissions offices. In May 2017, I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Education and a graduate certificate in Sports Leadership from the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports at Michigan State University.
The pictures above represent the things I like to do in my free time: drink coffee, play sports, support the Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, and Green Bay Packers, hang with my wife and our friends, and play with our dog, Barley.
